These are the fundamental questions. What is waving, and what is doing
the waving? But whatever it may be, it appears to be the stuff that
both solid matter and empty space are made of. In the Wheeler-Feynman
absorber theory, space is a field of waves with pilot-waves (retarded
waves)moving forward through time and confirmation waves (advanced
waves) moving backward through time. If we collapse the wavefunction
at points where they interfere as standing waves, we see a particle,
such as an electron, but there is no “solid” particle. There is
nothing but waves and a standing wave “particle” in one location
resonating with another suitably tuned standing wave in another
location can exchange energy. This exchange of energy is what we
observe as light and the implication is that a photon cannot be
emitted unless the emitting electron has received a conformation wave
from the electron that will absorb it in the future. Thus a photon
“knows” where it will arrive even before it is emitted or, as Cramer
explains it, a business-like transaction is made between the electron
pairs before the photon is exchanged. Zeilinger defines a “photon” as
a single “bit” of information. So light is an exchange of information
with energy going directly from one particle to another (without
passing through the space between) and the particle nature of light is
an illusion.

The following is how Milo Wolff describes the transmission of light.
You can think of his “Spherical Standing Waves” as electrons and his
“In and Out Waves” are the pilot waves described by Wheeler and
Feynman. The same waves are also known as quantum waves or probability
waves- everyone has a different set of names.

“Two Spherical Standing Waves (SSW) oscillators exchange energy much
like classical coupled oscillators, such as electric circuits or
joined pendulums. The coupling provided by the non-linear centers of
the resonances (high Wave-Density Wave-Centers) allows them to shift
frequency patterned by the modulation of each other’s In and
Out-Waves. Since significant coupling can only occur between two
oscillators which possess the same resonant elements, the frequency
(energy) changes are equal and opposite. Thus we observe as the law of
conservation of energy. When opposite changes of frequency (energy )
take place between two resonances, energy seems to be transported from
the center of one resonance to another. We observe a loss of energy
where frequency decreases and added energy where it increases. The
exchange appears to travel with the speed of the In-Waves of the
receiving resonance which is c, the velocity of light. When large
numbers of changes occur together, we can sample part of it and see a
beam of light (which causes the continuous electromagnetic waves of
Modern Physics). When single exchanges occur we see ‘photons’ as
discrete Standing Wave interactions. Thus the transitory modulated
waves traveling between two resonances create the illusion of the
‘photon particle’.”
